Creating Soundscapes rooted in culture.

Sanctum of Echoes is a soundscape inspired by the haunting beauty of Orthodox churches in and around Athens. Rooted in deep respect for both culture and tradition, the piece seeks to reinterpret sacred sound through a different lens—one that merges reverence with reflection, and ancient ritual with a dystopian sonic atmosphere.

It was composed using field recordings from various church services, including a brief segment from an Easter liturgy.

Through this work, I aim to honor my heritage and express my connection to Greece, while offering a modern, experimental twist on a deeply familiar soundscape.
